In early 2009, Laurent Fisch, the head of the MOLITOR Insolvency & Restructuring Group, was appointed a liquidator, under the Luxembourg Financial Sector Act, of Lehman Brothers (Luxembourg) S.A. by the Luxembourg District Court.

Lehman Brothers (Luxembourg) S.A. was previously a Financial Sector Professional (PSF) primarily involved in cross-border stock-lending. Laurent has furthermore been appointed by the Luxembourg court as a trustee in bankruptcy ("curateur") of another Luxembourg Lehman entity - Lehman Brothers (Luxembourg) Equity Finance S.A., an issuer of securities listed at the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. Finally, he has been entrusted by the Commercial Court with the winding down of LB Infrastructure Europe Holding SCA, a Lehman SPV, and of its general partner, another Luxembourg Lehman company.

The winding down of Lehman Brothers entities involves legal issues of unprecedented scale and complexity. This assignment has strengthened our considerable experience in international insolvencies and financial transactions.
